Design Without Limits
Your landscape, your rules
Curves that follow pool edges, garden beds and driveways, in 0.9m, 1.2m and 1.5m radii or any shape you can draw. The baseplate is CNC-cut from aluminium sheet, so the line holds the whole way round.

What is the curve following?
The process
How our curved system works
Send us the curve
Pick one of the stocked 0.9m, 1.2m or 1.5m radii for the quickest turnaround, or send the shape you actually have.
Confirm it on the ground
On a custom curve we cut an MDF template of the line first, so the shape gets checked where the fence is actually going before anything is made in aluminium.
Baseplates cut from sheet
Your curve is CNC-cut straight out of aluminium sheet, in a thickness chosen to suit the job. Cut, not bent, so the line is the one you signed off.
The battens follow the curve
Your profile is fixed to the curved baseplate at the same spacing as the straight runs, so the line carries round.
Why choose curved fencing?
Follow the shape of the block
Curved panels trace the natural shape of pools, garden beds and driveways, eliminating the awkward angles and gaps that straight fencing creates.
Machined, not bent by eye
Each curved baseplate is CNC-cut from aluminium sheet, so the line is the same at the end of the run as it was at the start. Reverse curves and shapes that are not a true arc are cut the same way.
All four profiles curve
SlimLine, BoldLine, RoundLine or SquareLine, every profile in our range fixes into a curved baseplate, in any powdercoat colour.
Three stocked radii
Radius options
Corner kits are stocked in three radii, which covers most pool surrounds and driveway sweeps. Your curve does not have to be one of them, or even a true arc: the baseplate is CNC-cut to whatever line you give us.
- 0.9m
- Our tightest stocked radius. Sharp turns around a plunge pool or a narrow side return.
- 1.2m
- The middle option, and the one most pool surrounds end up with.
- 1.5m
- A long, gentle sweep. Driveway entries and wide garden edges.
On a custom curve you see it on the ground before it is made: we cut an MDF template of the line first, so the shape can be confirmed in place. On a stocked radius you can order one on its own, which is also the shape to work to when you are forming a footing.

Curved fencing FAQs
What’s the minimum curve radius?
Our tightest stocked radius is 0.9m (900mm). We also stock 1.2m and 1.5m. Set radii are kept in stock for quicker turnaround; custom radii are available on request.
Can any batten profile be curved?
Yes, all four profiles (SlimLine, BoldLine, RoundLine, SquareLine) fix into a curved baseplate the same way they fix into a straight one.
How are the curves made?
The curved baseplate is CNC-cut straight out of aluminium sheet, in a thickness to suit the job, then your battens fix into it at the usual spacing. Nothing is bent, so the line is exactly the one on the drawing, and a curve that is not a true arc is no harder than one that is.
What is the MDF curve template for?
It is a cheap stand-in for the curved baseplate, cut from 12mm MDF to the same line. On a custom curve one is always cut first, so the shape can be confirmed where the fence is going before anything is made in aluminium. You can also order one on its own: lay it down to see whether the curve works, and work to it when you are forming a concrete footing.
Can I mix straight and curved sections?
Yes, most projects use both. Curved and straight sections are made together at the same height, spacing and colour, so they line up where they meet.
Do curved sections meet pool compliance?
Yes, same gap spacing and height as straight panels, fully complying with AS1926.1.
Does curving cost more?
Curved sections carry a premium over standard straight panels, because every baseplate is machined to your curve. The difference is modest compared to the design impact. Contact us for a detailed quote and we will break down the straight and curved sections clearly.
