Cookies Policy
Last updated: 12 September 2026
This page sits alongside our privacy policy and explains what this site stores in your browser. We have kept it to what we actually use, rather than a list of everything a website could theoretically set.
What we set ourselves
- Your cart. We keep a cart token in your browser's local storage so the items you have chosen are still there if you refresh or come back later. It holds a reference to your cart, not your name or card details.
- Checkout. When you go to the checkout, our store system keeps a short-lived session so your cart, delivery address and payment stay tied together while you complete the order.
We do not add analytics or advertising tracking of our own to this site. One of the third-party tools we use does, though, and it is described below rather than buried.
What third parties set
- YouTube. The project videos on this site are embedded from YouTube. When a video loads, YouTube sets its own cookies, which it uses for things like remembering playback and informing the recommendations you see on YouTube later. These are Google's cookies, under Google's policies, not ours.
- Our quote forms, and the Meta (Facebook) pixel that comes with them. The quote
form on our fencing pages is provided by GoHighLevel and loads inside the page. As well as its
own cookies, it loads Meta's advertising pixel (
fbevents.js) and a Cloudflare bot check. The pixel is advertising tracking: it can tell Meta that a browser visited a page with the form on it. This happens on our pool fencing, front fencing, custom curves, custom fencing and architect pages. Blocking third-party cookies, or using a content blocker, stops it, and the rest of the page still works. - Payment providers. Airwallex, Stripe and PayPal set cookies during checkout, largely for fraud prevention and to keep your payment session secure.
Turning them off
Every browser lets you block or clear cookies and site data, usually under privacy settings. You can also open the site in a private window. Blocking everything is fine for browsing, but the cart and the checkout need their storage to work, so ordering online will not function without them. You can always ring us on (08) 6185 0044 and order that way instead.
